Yesterday I started a diet. Lowering carbs and increasing veggie and fruit intake mainly. If you have been or know anyone who has been pregnant and had gestational diabetes then you know the main outline of the diet I am following. Three meals and three snacks a day with specified carb content for each. It is actually an easy diet and definitely makes me feel better. Dinner last night went well. Grilled steak, corn on the cob, and rice pilaf. Also a yummy salad. Today has been great but this evening is not going to go as well beings as I am attending a baby shower. Today has been Cheerios for breakfast and for the snack bagel thins with cream cheese. Must stay on track alllll day to make up for tonight!
Hoping to get a walk in today before the shower but I am not seeing it in my future since I have SO much to do before the baby shower!
